I opened Lucius Studio, a photography studio and custom picture framing shop, in 1995 in Senatobia, Mississippi. My dream was to work from home, and in 1997 I was able to move my studio home to our log cabin. In 2001, my husband and I built Chapel In the Pines, a log wedding Chapel. After 10 successful years in the Chapel business, we decided to sell the Chapel to travel and do other things. Custom Picture Framing is one of those businesses that will never be replaced by computers. I attended a picture framing training course many years ago, and have been framing ever since! I carry an extensive line of frame moulding and mats and cut straightline & oval mat openings. Almost anything can be framed, either in a traditional frame or a shadow box. Framing antique keepsakes and memoribillia is the best way to preserve them and a great way to create a one-of-a-kind gift. Because almost every part of the framing process begins with wood as the raw product, framing has become increasingly expensive over the past several years. I am, by nature, a creator and worker. I've been sewing since I was about 10 years old, and it continues to be a passion. I recently completed a training course and am a certified seamstress/dressmaker. I've sewn clothing, home decor, costumes, and most recently, quilts. In today's economy, I think it is prudent to repair rather than replace clothing, and I would love to help you with you sewing needs. I sew on a Brother Innovis 1200 and a 1034D Serger. The Innovis is a sewing/embroidery machine and I love the embroidery feature. Almost any item you can think of has been digitized and is available for embroidery.

My QUILTS are machine pieced but hand quilted. Machine quilting is beautiful, but if you want a quilt to snuggle with, hand quilting is the way to go!
