Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LuPad++ handles information when you use the LuPad++ mobile application (the “App”). LuPad++ is a local text editor and does not require an account.
1. Information handled by LuPad++
Files you choose to open or save. The App reads and writes files only when you ask it to. File contents are processed on your device and are not uploaded to a server controlled by the developer.
Local settings. The App may store settings such as language, theme, zoom, editor preferences and limited recent-file information on your device so that the App can remember your choices.
2. Advertising and consent
LuPad++ uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising. Depending on your region, consent choices and device settings, Google and its partners may process information such as an advertising identifier, IP address, device information, diagnostics, approximate location and ad interactions to deliver, measure or limit advertising.
Where required, LuPad++ uses Google’s consent tools to ask for your choices. You can review advertising privacy choices through the App’s consent or privacy settings where available. Learn more about Google’s partner data practices at Google Partner sites and apps.
3. Sharing and retention
The developer does not sell your document contents. File contents and local editor data remain on your device unless you choose an Android sharing, backup or file-provider action. Advertising data may be handled by Google and its partners under their own policies.
4. Children
LuPad++ is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed specifically at children.
5. Changes and contact
